    Accidenti, abbiamo quasi finito i finali nel work in progress! Oggi vi presentiamo un aggiornamento a tema SEGA: abbiamo infatti finali per Mega Drive, Master System, 32X e persino uno per SG-1000! Infine, a 4 anni dalla pubblicazione, ho aggiornato Undead Line, che ora ha il finale in inglese grazie a una patch amatoriale. A presto!

    A nemmeno un mese dall'uscita, il nostro Giancarlo ha già pronto per voi il (terribile) finale di Double Dragon IV, primo seguito ufficiale a quasi trent'anni di distanza dall'ultimo. Buona visione!

    Less than a month ago ARC System Works release Double Dragon IV, nearly thirty years after the last chapter in the series. Giancarlo has already completed it and brings you the (lame) ending. See you!

    Corposo aggiornamento NES in vista!
    Oggi Stencio ci mostra come sia vasto ed articolato il panorama dell'indimenticabile console a 8 bit di mamma Nintendo..ma andiamo con ordine: innanzitutto ci sono 9 nuovi finali, per la maggior parte titoli giapponesi tradotti in inglese (grazie al database RomHacking) e giochilli non ufficiali.
    In più, a seguire, alcune chicche per cui però serve una premessa: già all'epoca dei videogiochi a 8 e 16 bit c'era "l'abitudine" di cambiare certi elementi di uno stesso titolo, durante il processo di importazione in occidente. Succedeva così che venissero censurate / tagliate / modificate alcune parti del gioco, oppure che la storia di base subisse cambiamenti più o meno radicali.
    Il risultato era quindi la creazione di due versioni dello stesso videogioco, con differenze a volte sostanziali ed interessanti.
    Nello specifico quest'oggi vi proponiamo:

  7. Double Dragon III - The Sacred Stones: la versione giapponese ha una storia differente; in particolare Marion non dev'essere salvata, anzi non viene nemmeno menzionata! Anche il finale dunque è leggermente diverso (soprattutto nei testi).
  8. Final Mission: versione giapponese di Action in New York, ha una storia completamente diversa e un finale più esteso.
  9. Mad City, versione giapponese di Adventures of Bayou Billy: le differenze con la versione occidentale riguardano proprio il finale del gioco; infatti mentre Adventures of Bayou Billy ha un solo finale, in Mad City sono possibili addirittura 4 sequenze diverse!
  10. Totsuzen! Machoman è la versione giapponese di Amagon: anche in questo caso la versione occidentale ha subito un taglio nella sequenza conclusiva.
    11. E per finire in bellezza, oltre a quelli delle new entry sono stati aggiunti altri 12 video NES!


    A huge NES update is approaching fast!
    Today Stencio shows us how big is the world of Nintendo 8-bit console. First of all there's 9 new endings, they're japan title (thanks for the translation goes at RomHacking community) and unlicensed games.
    Besides this, there are some intresting stuff about differences that occur in a same game when it's localised from Japan to USA / Europe: during 8 and 16 bit era, games often were rearranged and some parts were cut or altered.
    As for today, we have:
  11. Double Dragon III - The Sacred Stones: Japanese version has a different story so we find out that Marion must not be saved, indeed she is not even mentioned! Even the ending therefore is slightly different.
  12. Final Mission: Japanese version of Action in New York, the story is completely different and has an extended ending.
  13. Mad City: Japanese version of Adventures of Bayou Billy: the differences with western version relate to the very end of the game. While Adventures of Bayou Billy has only oneending, in Mad City you can obtain 4 different sequences!
  14. Totsuzen! Machoman is the Japanese version of Amagon: in this case the western version suffered a cut in the final sequence.
